Alex Drost received the Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award during the Annual Senior Athletic Awards Reception on the Annual Senior Athletic Awards Reception on Friday, April 25.

Adrienne Bender earned the Charger Award for this year's Outstanding Female Athlete and the Wynne Jesser McGrew Senior Scholar-Athlete Award during the Annual Senior Athletic Awards Reception on Friday, April 25.

The purpose of this national honor society in psychology is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. Members must rank in the top 35 percent of the class, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in psychology courses. They must have completed at least three college semesters and nine credits of psychology courses and be enrolled in a program of study with strong psychological content.

The international honor society in business, The college's chapter of this honor society promotes, recognizes and encourages outstanding scholarly achievement of students enrolled in the athletic training education major. Members must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and rank in the top 35 percent of their class. Honor cords of red, yellow and blue are worn by graduates.

Windcrossing Productions, founded in 1990 by the late Professor Donald Coonley, was reborn in 2011 and dedicated to the creation of interdisciplinary video projects that invite alumni to collaborate with current students and community members. Internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer College faculty, staff, and work site professionals. The William Holst Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in drawing. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor William Holst.

The Martha Andrea Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in printmaking. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Martha Andrea.

The Mary Parker Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in mixed media. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Mary Parker.

The Jessica Jacobs Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes best in show for photography. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Jessica Jacobs.

The John Bott Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in watercolor. The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor John Bott.

The Barbara Nwacha Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in graphic design. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Barbara Nwacha.

The Financial Services Art and Materials award is presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. The financial services department awards a commission prize to the student whose work is chosen.

The Nancy Pierce Williams Scholarship is presented annually at the 2014 Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. To be considered for this award students must enter five works to be juried by the faculty. The scholarship was established in 1998 through a bequest from Nancy Pierce Williams, a member of the Class of 1939.

The Edith B. Long Scholarship is presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. To be considered for this award students must enter five works to be juried by the faculty. The scholarship was established in 1964 in memory of "Coco" Long and is awarded each year to returning students who demonstrate outstanding ability and interest in art.

The Charlotte Cobb Stahl Scholarship is presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. To be considered for this award students must enter five works to be juried by the faculty. The scholarship was established for enrolled Fine Arts students in 1994 in memory of Charlotte Cobb Stahl '51.

Tomie dePaolo, internationally renowned author and artist, former Colby-Sawyer faculty member and long-time supporter of the Fine and Performing Arts Department, annually donates fine artist papers for the Annual Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. This year 16 students were recognized with the Whitebird Award for their work in ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor and mixed-media.

The Colby-Sawyer College Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Club organized "CSC Let's Move," the club's first wellness fair at the Dan and Kathleen Hogan Sports Center on Saturday, March 29. Inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" program to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity, the event featured Zumba(R), Insanity(R), Drums Alive(R), Pilates, yoga, physical therapy, reiki, and more.

On Monday, March 24, Colby-Sawyer's Investment Management class attended NASDAQ's opening bell, walked the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, entered the gold vault at the Federal Reserve Bank and reflected on the 9/11 Memorial.

Colby-Sawyer is the first private college in New Hampshire, and the second college in the state to earn the certification, and is among 113 colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

One of ten student-actors featured in "Orlando," a play based on the novel by Virginia Woolf. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl and directed by Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Suzanne Delle, performances will be performed on Thursday, March 27, Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Sawyer Center Theater at the Sawyer Fine and Performing Arts Center. Performances are free and open to the public.

The Study Abroad/Study Away program at Colby-Sawyer provides students the opportunity to acquire broad cultural knowledge and practical skills which will enable them to participate fully in a global society and to contribute to the internationalization of the Colby-Sawyer campus through academically demanding domestic and international programs.

Organized by the Harrington Center for Career and Academic Advising, the Hunger Games Competition encourages students to practice their resume and cover letter writing and interviewing skills in a competitive environment. This year 31 students competed for the top three positions.
