Featured Actor in Spring Theater Production "Orlando"
One of ten student-actors featured in "Orlando," a play based on the novel by Virginia Woolf. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Sarah Ruhl and directed by Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Suzanne Delle, performances will be held on Thursday, March 27, Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Sawyer Center Theater at the Sawyer Fine and Performing Arts Center.
Performances are free and open to the public.

The conference name, Pamoja60, combines the Swahili word pomoja, meaning united or together, with 60, representing the year 1960 when Pan-African ideals emerged. The conference theme, Neo Pan-Africanism: The Youthful Voice in African Development, takes a multidisciplinary approach to development over the past 50 years while considering ways to move forward.

Organized by the International Speakers Bureau, the event "Dating, Marriage and Relationship Across Cultures," engaged students, faculty, staff, and community members in a dialog encompassing such topics as dating, courtship, pre-marital sex, weddings, gender roles, sexual orientation and divorce.
Aptly organized on Feb. 14 marking Valentine's Day, the event was moderated by Assistant Professor of Humanities Margaret Wiley and coordinated by Sukriti Raut '15.
