The Barbara Nwacha Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers '39 Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in graphic design. The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Barbara Nwacha.

The John Bott Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers '39 Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes "Best in Show in Watercolor." The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts John Bott.

The Jessica Jacobs Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers '39 Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes best in show for photography. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Jessica Jacobs.

The Mary Parker Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in mixed media. The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Mary Parker.

The Martha Andrea Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in printmaking. The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Martha Andrea.

The William Holst Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in drawing. The award is named in honor of former Colby-Sawyer College Professor of Fine and Performing Arts William Holst.

The Edith B. Long Scholarship is presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. To be considered for this award students must enter five works to be juried by the faculty. The scholarship was established in 1964 in memory of "Coco" Long and is awarded each year to returning students who demonstrate outstanding ability and interest in art.

The Leslie Vansen Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers '39 Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in painting. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Leslie Vansen.

Each year, Tomie dePaolo, internationally renowned author and artist, former Colby-Sawyer faculty member and long-time supporter of the Fine and Performing Arts Department, chooses high-grade artist papers from his own studio-paper collection to be awarded to deserving student artists. This year 13 students were recognized with the Whitebird Award for their work in ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor and mixed-media.

The Joe Hruby Award, presented annually at the Gladys Greenbaum Meyers '39 Juried Student Art Exhibition, recognizes the best in show in typography. The award is named in honor or former Colby-Sawyer Art Professor Joe Hruby.

Under the direction of Adjunct Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts Jean Liepold, an ensemble students and community members will perform in a two-act concert on Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in Sawyer Center Theater.

The Class of 2015 Commencement Speaker Medal is presented to a student who represents the character of the graduating class and will give an inspirational and engaging speech that represents the college's values and learning outcomes.

The Colby-Sawyer Award is given to the senior who, in the opinion of the faculty, best exemplifies the ideals of the college in personal dignity, intellectual growth, contribution to campus life and constructive influence on other students.
