Colby-Sawyer College recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2016 spring semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Women's Tennis NEAC East Division Champions
The Colby-Sawyer Women's Tennis team, comprised of 12 student-athletes, is led by Head Coach Barry Schoonmaker and Assistant Coaches Jen (LaChance) Taylor '10 and Elizabeth Lincoln. The team won their fourth straight NAC/NEAC Crossover Championship on Sunday, May 8.

The Barbara Johnson Stearns Award honors a member of the senior class who best demonstrates exemplary leadership and dedication to the college community. The award was established in 1982 by Barbara Johnson Stearns, a member of the Class of 1932, who was an outstanding example of the characteristics she chose to support and reinforce in others.

The purpose of this national honor society in psychology is to encourage, stimulate and maintain excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. Members must rank in the top 35 percent of the class, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in psychology courses. They must have completed at least three college semesters and nine credits of psychology courses and be enrolled in a program of study with strong psychological content.

The international honor society in business, management and administration honors the academic excellence and integrity of business administration majors. Completed Research Project on Traumatic Brain Injury
Five Colby-Sawyer senior nursing students completed a research project in conjuction with the Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic in Tampa, Fla. Associate Professor of Nursing and Public Health Shari Goldberg, Ph.D., R.N., served as supervisor to the students.
