Tomie dePaola Whitebird Paper Award Recipient
Each year, Tomie dePaolo, internationally renowned author and artist, former Colby-Sawyer faculty member and long-time supporter of the Fine and Performing Arts Department, chooses high-grade artist papers from his own studio-paper collection to be awarded to deserving student artists. This year 11 students were recognized with the Whitebird Award for their work in ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, watercolor and mixed-media.
