Charlotte Cobb Stahl Award
Established in 1994, the Charlotte Cobb Stahl Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of a member of the class of 1951. The scholarship is awarded each year to students of the fine arts at Colby-Sawyer.

Selected as a BOLD Women's Leadership Network Scholarship Recipient
Colby-Sawyer has been selected to join the BOLD Women's Leadership Network, a highly selective national program of female scholars, and was awarded a three-year, $1.1 million grant for scholarships and transformational campus projects. Colby-Sawyer's initial cohort of BOLD scholars are seven juniors who are female or identify as female, as stipulated by the program, and are first-generation students from rural locations in northern New England who are in good standing at the college.

Colby-Sawyer College recognizes 226 students for outstanding academic achievement during the 2018 fall semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Student-Faculty Duo to Present at Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference
Meaza Petros '19 was accepted to present at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Conference in Portland, Ore. in March with Associate Professor of Humanities and poet Ewa Chrusciel; their panel proposal, "Hoopoes and Dybbuks: Immigrant and Refugee Voices," was one of 500 selected from more than 2,000.
