Student Research Leads to Tree Farm Certification
A Colby-Sawyer student-led initiative led to recognition of the college's responsible land management. The N.H. Tree Farm Program formally recognized Colby-Sawyer's 86-acre Kelsey Forest as the state's newest member of the American Tree Farm System.

NH-INBRE Summer Research Assistantship
New Hampshire IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (NH-INBRE) research assistantships are funded through a federal grant designed to enhance biomedical research training and opportunities across New Hampshire. The five-year, $15.4 million grant from the National Institutes of Health has funded a research network which includes Colby-Sawyer College students and faculty.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Member
The Colby-Sawyer Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (CSC-SAAC) serves as a liaison between Colby-Sawyer student-athletes and athletic administration and faculty/staff, fostering communication between all groups. SAAC also takes place at the conference level and has a presence and a vote at the national level. Further, SAAC members are expected to be leaders on campus and give back through community service.
