Windcrossing Film Festival
Windcrossing Productions, founded in 1990 by the late Professor Donald Coonley, was reborn in 2011 and dedicated to the creation of interdisciplinary video projects that invite alumni to collaborate with current students and community members. The festival celebrates the collaboration and production of creative, original filmmaking.

On Monday, March 24, Colby-Sawyer's Investment Management class attended NASDAQ's opening bell, walked the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, entered the gold vault at the Federal Reserve Bank and reflected on the 9/11 Memorial.

Fair Trade Certification Committee Member
Colby-Sawyer College has been recognized as a Fair Trade College by Fair Trade Campaigns, a non-profit partnership advocating Fair Trade for farmers, workers and artisans across the globe. Colby-Sawyer is the first private college in New Hampshire, and the second college in the state to earn the certification, and is among 113 colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

Organized by the Harrington Center for Career and Academic Advising, the Hunger Games Competition encourages students to practice their resume and cover letter writing and interviewing skills in a competitive environment. This year 31 students competed for the top three positions.

The conference name, Pamoja60, combines the Swahili word pomoja, meaning united or together, with 60, representing the year 1960 when Pan-African ideals emerged. The conference theme, Neo Pan-Africanism: The Youthful Voice in African Development, takes a multidisciplinary approach to development over the past 50 years while considering ways to move forward.
