William Hyland Receives Colby-Sawyer's Sawyer Fellowship

William Hyland is one of eight students selected to receive the Sawyer Fellowship, one of Colby-Sawyer College's most prestigious honors. Each year, Colby-Sawyer College faculty and administrative staff nominate students based upon their excellence in the classroom, their leadership, and their involvement in the life of the college. These nominations are reviewed by a committee to determine the most deserving recipients.

Hyland studies sport management at Colby-Sawyer. In addition to the honor of being selected for the fellowship, all recipients receive a financial award meant to express, in a tangible way, the esteem in which the college holds the achievements and contributions of those selected.
