Rasheed Foster Named NAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Rasheed Foster of Sandy Bay, Jamaica, was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week on April 25 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Foster majors in Exercise Science and is a member of the class of 2017.

Foster earned his third straight NAC Track Athlete of the Week award. He picked up two more wins in the sprints at Saturday's Sean Collier Invitational hosted by MIT. He took top honors in the 100 for the second time this outdoor season with a time of 11 seconds flat. Foster then won his third straight 200 meter dash race by tying his school record time of 21.94 and finishing ahead of 55 other runners. Both times are good to qualify him for the New England's and ECAC's.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
