Rasheed Foster Named NAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Rasheed Foster of Sandy Bay, Jamaica, was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week on April 19 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Foster majors in Exercise Science and is a member of the class of 2017.

Foster continued to improve his school record times in the 100m and 200m dashes at Saturday's Eric Loeschner Memorial Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State. He placed third in the 100m with a record time of 10.77 and won the 200m in a record time 21.94. He qualified for New England's and ECAC's in each event, while moving up in the national rankings to tie for 13th in the 100m (T2nd in NE) and is currently tied for 36th in the 200m (2nd in NE).

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
