Rasheed Foster Named NAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Rasheed Foster of Sandy Bay, Jamaica, was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week on April 12 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Foster majors in Exercise and Sports Science and is a member of the class of 2017.

Foster had a great showing in the sprint events at Saturday's Pioneer Invitational hosted by Smith College. He won the 100m and 200m dashes. The senior crossed the finish in the 100m at 11.23 and the 200m in 22.28. Foster qualified for the New England Championships in each race and qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 200m. His 200m time also ranks him 53rd in the nation.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
