Rachel Quaye Earns NAC Weekly Award for Track and Field

Colby-Sawyer women's track and field student-athlete Rachel Quaye was honored by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) for her efforts during the week of April 13.

Quaye was named Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. She turned in a pair of solid performances at Saturday's meet. Quaye placed fourth in the shot put with a mark of 11.79m. The sophomore also posted a throw of 36.62m in the javelin to place second in the event.

The Chargers will host the first ever track and field meet at Colby-Sawyer on Sunday, April 26. Members of the NAC will compete for the conference's first championship.
