Matthew Schiller Named NAC Rookie of the Week

Colby-Sawyer student-athlete Matthew Schiller of Slingerlands, N.Y., has been named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week on November 2. Schiller is majoring in Biology and is a member of the class of 2019.

Schiller provided the game-winning goal as the Chargers came from behind to win 3-2 against Plymouth State. After being down 2-0, Colby-Sawyer netted two goals to tie the game, which then set Schiller up for the game-winner, as he found the back of the net in the 80th minute to give the Chargers the victory.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
