Makenzie Welch Named Member of Colby-Sawyer College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

Makenzie Welch of Torrington, Conn. represents the Women's Swimming & Diving team on the 2015-2016 Colby-Sawyer College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (CSC-SAAC). Welch majors in Nursing and is a member of the Class of 2018.

The CSC-SAAC serves as a liaison between Colby-Sawyer student-athletes, athletic administration and faculty/staff, fostering communication between all groups. SAAC also takes place at the conference level and has a presence and a vote at the national level. Further, SAAC members are expected to be leaders on campus and give back through community service.
