Jesse Murch Named to NAC All-Academic Team

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Jesse Murch of Waterford, Maine, was named to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Academic Team on January 27.

The NAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Student-athletes must also have reached sophomore academic standing and competed in a minimum of two years of varsity competition at their institution.

A member of the Class of 2018 majoring in Environmental Studies, Murch played on the Colby-Sawyer Field Hockey team.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
