Ge Huang Recognized at Alpha Chi National Convention

The annual Alpha Chi National Convention is a platform for members of the national college honor society to present academic work to peers and scholars representing colleges and universities throughout the United States. At the society's March 19-21 convention in Chicago, twenty-nine members of Alpha Chi received $100 prizes for making the best scholarly, creative, or artistic presentations in their fields.

Among more than 260 students making presentations, Huang was selected as the recipient of the Bill Short Prize in World Literature for her presentation titled "An Expose of China's Banned Literature." Huang, a member of the class of 2015, is majoring in English.
