Gabrielle Rodriguez Named NAC Player of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Gabrielle Rodriguez of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., was named Women's Volleyball Player of the Week on November 2 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Rodriguez majors in Athletic Training and is a member of the class of 2017.

Rodriguez led the Chargers with 39 kills and was second on the team with 35 digs in three matches last week. She recorded double digit kills in each of the three matches and recorded two double-doubles. Rodriguez began the week with 10 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 loss at Western New England. She followed with 11 kills and seven digs in the team's 3-1 win over Eastern Conn. St. Rodriguez finished the week with a career-high 18 kills and 17 digs in a tough 3-2 loss at Plymouth State. She added the second most service aces on the team with five for the week.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
