Emmani Robinson Named NAC Field Athlete of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Emmani Robinson of Newburgh, N.Y., was named Women's Field Athlete of the Week on April 12 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Robinson majors in Athletic Training and is a member of the class of 2018.

Robinson had an impressive afternoon with two victories at Saturday's Pioneer Invitational hosted by Smith College. She won the shot put with an impressive distance of 11.96 meters, which ranks her seventh in New England and 54th in the nation. She also won the discus with a mark of 32.39 meters. She qualified for the New England and ECAC Championships in the shot put.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
