Deepesh Duwadi Volunteers For Colby-Sawyer College ReChargers Resale Event

Deepesh Duwadi of Kathmandu helped organize the Colby-Sawyer College ReChargers Resale Event, the college's first organized effort to sell reusable items left behind by the graduating class to incoming and returning students, at the Mercer Hall Gymnasium on Sunday, Sept. 7 and Monday, Sept. 8. A(n) Biology major, Duwadi is a member of the class of 2016.

Duwadi, along with other ReChargers, helped collect, clean, sort, test, and price more than a ton of reusable items, including clothing, storage units, televisions, mini fridges, bed risers, carpets and other items for resale. The group hopes to reduce and eventually eliminate the throwaway culture that pervades the campus at the end of each academic year.
