Christina Guertin Volunteers for NH Food Bank's Annual 'Mac Off'

Christina Guertin participated in New Hampshire Food Bank (NHFB)'s Annual 'Mac-Off' on Friday, Sept. 19. Presented by Bank of America in partnership with NHFB, teams engaged in friendly competition to assemble the highest number of food packages, with the featured food being Mac & Cheese.

During her shift, Guertin, her teammates and fellow participants packed over 14,000 meals for N.H. families and helped to eliminate food insecurity in the state. A(n) Child Development major, Guertin participated in the event as part of Assistant Professor of Sociology Kate Turcotte's Social Problems in the U.S. course.
