Amanda Martin Named NAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Colby-Sawyer College student-athlete Amanda Martin of Amesbury, Mass., was named Women's Track Athlete of the Week on April 25 by the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). Martin majors in Nursing and is a member of the class of 2019.

Martin earned the weekly award. She came away with a school record in the triple jump in just her fourth meet of the season placing seventh, breaking a 10-year old record with a distance of 10.54m.

The NAC is an athletic conference, affiliated with the NCAA 's Division III, consisting primarily of small liberal arts colleges throughout New England, including: Castleton State College, Colby-Sawyer College, University of Maine at Farmington, Green Mountain College, Husson University, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, Maine Maritime Academy, New England College, Thomas College.
